ASEAN-China Centre Set Up an ASEAN Pavilion at the 24th China Lanzhou Investment and Trade Fair

On 5 July 2018, the 24th China Lanzhou Investment and Trade Fair (hereinafter referred to as the 24th Lanzhou Fair) was held at the Gansu International Convention and Exhibition Centre in Lanzhou, Gansu province.

In order to further promote economic and trade cooperation as well as people-to-people exchanges between ASEAN and China, ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) set up an ASEAN Pavilion covering an exhibition area of 480 square meters, including an ACC Booth with 36 square meters at the Fair. A total of 10 ASEAN enterprises and their Chinese distributors exhibited products ranging from food, handicrafts, textiles to cultural products at the ASEAN Pavilion. At the opening of the 24th Lanzhou Fair, accompanied by Mr. Guo Chuanwei, Trade and Investment Director of ACC, commercial ministers and counsellors from embassies of ASEAN Member States including Thailand, Malaysia and Viet Nam visited the ASEAN Pavilion and ACC Booth.

With prominent position, striking logo and gorgeous visual effect, the ASEAN Pavilion successfully attracted the attention of the visitors. During the 5-day fair, the ASEAN Pavilion and ACC Booth received a total of 5,000 visitors and issued more than 1,000 copies of brochures, achieving good publicity and fruitful business results.
